The design of this Hong Kong residential care home for the Baptist Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Centre, adopts a terraced building form, taking full advantage of the topography to create a multi-layered spatial layout. The building is oriented towards the beauty of the landscape on one side and connects to the urban community on the other, balancing the interaction between nature and society. The design incorporates MIC (Modular Integrated Construction) techniques to ensure efficient construction and sustainability. Green terraces and common areas on each floor enhance the outdoor space for residents. The façade is dominated by white panels and glass curtain walls with staggered balconies, creating a sense of modernity and comfort. The central courtyard is lushly landscaped with walking paths and rest areas to optimize elderly care and rehabilitation.
